As part of Liverpool’s WoWfest and LightNight (Friday 15th May), we are be looking back at one of the most spectacular and moving events we’ve created in our company’s history.
In 2019 an illuminated floating ‘City of Light, City of Sanctuary’ was produced in partnership with Writing on the Wall. Today we are delighted to premiere the release of the soundtrack to the installation, reminding us all what home, belonging and cities mean to us now.
The work, created with over 1000 participants, was a response to issues of displacement affecting many people and communities in the world then and now, during these unprecedented times we are taking this opportunity to reflect on and reimagine the importance of what are homes and cities means for us and others during this global crisis.
