The Lantern Company actively invites participation from communities within which we work, and there are several ways you can get involved in our exciting events:
Volunteering
There are a number of ways in which you can get involved as a volunteer with the company, supporting our events in vital roles, while gaining some unique work experience, or just enjoying being part of a great team.
Roles include:
- Stewarding at our events
- Performing
- Operating giant puppets
- Community workshop assistance
- Crewing

Apprenticeships and student placements
We offer unique paid apprenticeship opportunities and student placements on our larger scale events. Placements can be on the artistic, technical or event management teams and give a fantastic opportunity to learn on the job with an experienced and talented group of professionals.
