Engaging children from nought to ninety nine with the City of Light’s themes,  we created ‘Habitats’ – an illuminated animal story trail – in the grounds of Sefton Park Palm House. Connected to the floating city by a short walk from the lakeside, audiences were able to explore the trail and discover giant gramophones reciting poems,  giant flowers and plants and talking indigenous animal lanterns in their own  habitats throughout February half term.

Visitors had the opportunity to make their own mini  lantern in a dedicated workshop, under the guidance of professional artists.
